Consumer rights disclosure
Your credit-repair rights
Federal and state law gives you specific rights when it comes to repairing your own credit. Dispute Chief is software that helps you exercise those rights yourself. We are not a credit repair organization acting on your behalf, and we never charge you for a result. Please read this before you start.
You can dispute errors yourself, for free
You have the right to dispute inaccurate information directly with the credit bureaus and your creditors at no cost. You can do this on your own without any third party. Dispute Chief simply makes it faster by reading your report, finding likely errors, and drafting letters in plain English. You review, sign, and mail every letter yourself.
Nothing is guaranteed
No one can legally promise to remove accurate, current information from your credit report, and neither do we. Results depend on your specific situation and the bureaus' response. Dispute Chief is a tool, not a guarantee of any score change or deletion.
You control the money and the timing
You pay only for access to the software, billed up front and cancelable at any time. We do not collect payment in exchange for a promised outcome, and we do not require you to wait before disputing. You can cancel your subscription whenever you like from your billing settings.
Your right to cancel
You may cancel your Dispute Chief subscription at any time. Some states give you an additional right to cancel certain credit-repair agreements within three business days. If your state provides that right, it applies to you and you owe nothing for canceling in that window.
We do not mail letters for you
Dispute Chief drafts your letters. You print, sign, and mail them yourself. Keeping you in control of every letter is what keeps this software, not a service performed on your behalf.
Accuracy of your file
You have the right to obtain a copy of your credit report and to have inaccurate information corrected or deleted. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) governs these rights. For the full federal text and the official "Consumer Credit File Rights" statement, see the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov.
